Project: San Francisco National Maritime Park
Design: Academy Design, CA
High-tech exhibitry tells the story of San Francisco's colorful and diverse maritime heritage. A First Order Fresnel Lighthouse lens and a magnificent brass structure encasing hundreds of precisely polished prisms, guides visitors through the door and into the main hall. Housed in the Park's 1907 historic Haslett Warehouse building, the Visitor Center tells the stories of voyage, discovery and cultural diversity.
